Wayne Haas has always bugged the hell out of me
I just don't get this dudes mentality, and the correct path through talking him into letting you into the morgue is...completely absurd.
He blames Jensen for where he's at now...but HE pulled the trigger. He had every right to refuse the order as well, but he didn't and it's on Jensen? I know people go to weird lengths to dodge responsibility but holy crap. You're telling me Wayne knows what he did was wrong, and instead of being angry at the person who commanded him to do it, he's angry at someone who did what he should have?
And then to make the whole interaction even more bizarre.
>Jensen IMMEDIATELY (without your input) starts ♥♥♥♥ with Wayne while demanding a favor (What the F?)
> Wayne says "come up with something better than your usual attitude"
>You have to plead, and absolve, which makes sense (because that's no attitude)
>You absolve him again and he admits that he blames you...for not shooting the kid... RIGHT after saying "What could I have done different"...REALLY?
> So you plead again now. "It's in the past now, Wayne" and his response? "Really? that's good to know"

So this man has held onto hate and anger against Jensen for TWO YEARS, and just like that lets go of it, not because Jensen said "sorry" (he didn't) but because Jensen says "It's in the past"? AND THEN HE THANKS JENSEN? HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING.

There are soap operas with more believable characters than this.

TL:DR Eff Wayne for being a counter intuitive blame shifting moron, and Eff Jensen for coming out the gate like a total sh!thead without even giving us a choice to approach like a decent dude.

The Police Station was done early in the development it is mentioned in the dev commentary, can be noticed on the script and voice acting.

His first sentence to Haas always bothered me, if I recall correctly even the devs weren't happy about it in the end.

Jensen can deal with it much better when Haas approaches him after he is fired.

I did Haas exactly once. I was so revolted I never bothered coming into the police station from the front entrance again. Instead I developed a five-minute backdoor run.

I'm mystified that anyone anywhere ever thought that was a representation of something that could happen in the real world between real men.

I would shoot him dead before I ever helped him again.
