This game was something I put on my wishlist a while back and didn't think much of. Then the demo came out, and I was charmed with its simplistic style and story hook. I sank quite a while into the demo, so when the full game dropped I snapped it up. I'm so glad that I did.

This is one of those quiet, ruminating games that are so, so rare to come across. The story is engaging and the atmosphere is beautiful but painfully lonely, melancholic even, like a half-remembered dream from childhood. I'm not finished with it yet, but so far I've loved every minute I've put into it. The dinosaurs were a welcome surprise, and the procedural nature of the planets themselves is fascinating; they don't feel cobbled together, they feel very natural and organic.

For the price, this game is definitely worth it, and even though I'm almost 10 hours in on one play through, this is something with near infinite replayability.
