I dont want to defend them, and i really wish for them to redo stuff from blade assault. But the game was... kinda complete. It really seemed like it was a mess to be worked on, seeing how much time it took them to fix certain bugs/adding content

I agree with you and blade assault is a good game and this one it seems better.

Oh wow, the notifs on this thread reminded me just how soon this comes out, 2 days. I'll watch the reviews and see how it is. I like how it looks, but I liked how Blade Assault looked too, and good thing I didn't buy it

Could you please define "abandon" a little bit better? Cause by all accounts Blade Assault seems like a finished game.

Did they have a planned roadmap to update the game, not deliver on promises or just Finish the game and moved on to the next project?

Was Blade Assault ever meant to be a forever game, mantained forever with new content?

they had features still planned btw, and kickstarter goals that they promised and never delivered on

I'm going to see how they address some bugs in the coming week and wait to play in case I need to do a Steam refund. It has a lot of promise, but some basic things are broken, like properly changing resolution, and I'm not eager to wait weeks/months for patches for basic functions in a video game in 2024.

Yeah, all the characters in Blade Assault were suppose to get 3 different weapons to use etc, and we never saw those, so whatever they promise Here, just take it with a grain of salt as they might decide at the very end it's not worth it... But otherwise, Blade Assault was a good game

Blade Assault was awesome. I guess I didn’t follow closely and bought on sale after 1.0.

Buying this one in 3.2.1..

blade assault was a complete experience and quite fun. so far this game is following that direction.
