I'm trying to end this less confrontational but it's really hard trying to reach people like you who jump the gun on everything based on some emotional impulse. I suggest you seek out a hobby with people outside of gaming, or at least, outside *gamers*. People like you clearly hang out too much with people who are like you, pretty sure you're well aware of what an echo chamber is...though "echo chambers" is little more but a bs buzz word/term...anyway, but you get the idea. I would suggest more but there's already only an off chance that this will end differently than I expect it to.
Anyway, brb with the other thing.
Ah, found it.

You may notice that everyone was suddenly very quiet after I posted that comment. So the best way to avoid situations like this is not getting angry over or at something/someone in the first place, especially if it has nothing to do with you. If you, for whatever reason, feel the NEED to play spanish inquisition, go do something fun instead first and check why you're angry or where4 your anger comes from. Play with a pet or something, do something productive, find a better outlet for the excess energy. If after that you still feel it necessary, at least try to do it in a neutral way, like asking "How is this different from Blasphemous?" but without adding qualifiers or judgement right off the bat. Anything along the lines of "This looks like a ♥♥♥♥/ripoff Blasphemous" is not constructive criticism. It's ♥♥♥♥ feedback. And you don't need me to tell you that nobody wants to hear that. There's literally zero reason or need for that kind of hostility in these situations. Are there thematic similarities? Sure, but so do all of these kinds of games have similarities with many other things, last but certainly not least Castlevania. A lot of this comes from architecture though, like real world architecture, there are rules for that stuff.
Aside from that, let's for example not pretend like any of the Soulsbornekirorings are so super unique either. Souls/like) games have done a unique type of damage to gamers though, who now think that every game that is hard is just "X + Souls", but you don't see me getting up everyone's arses over it.
btw to fully answer you, in much nicer terms than was necessary, I called out his baseless accusation, showed him others who did the same had the decency to stop after proving them wrong and gave therapeutic advice free of charge. I've been reported AND punished for less...and good will (against better judgement) demands I at least give them a chance.
Critics of supposed thin skin tend to have the thinnest.
I mean, these types do mean it...can still be both though, no doubt.
