Maybe Virgil can put his thinking cap on and come up with a solution. :)
I take it from your comment that I shouldn't have experienced that? I'm really afraid that when I get home, my desktop save is going to be trashed.
It looks like this save info is stored in Windows at C:\Users\[User]\Documents\creeperworld3. Is this correct? Do you know where it should be stored at in Linux? I can try to do some testing on my end, or at the very least, sync the files manually.
Yes, your save path is correct, and it's similar on my Linux ´$HOME/Documents/creeperworld3´.
But i know this problem from other games, so creeper world is not the only one having this issue.
It would be awesome if this can be fixed. Otherwise i will have to use the old save-on-usb-stick-trick.
Can we manually transfert the saves (or just the progression) ?
I don't know if the file format is the same between the different builds...
Second, and off-topic, contrats on making this game in what appears to be Unity. I'm really impressed you managed to get that engine to do this at a decent performance.
Loaded on laptop with linux, and game says tat I have to complete first 5 levels in singleplayer, to play community maps, that's so sad.
I do not care for saved games (for now)
@knucracker perhaps you can use Steam API to sync campaign progression? :(
