4k screen
any fixes/ect for this game to make it playable on a 4k screen? Even at max zoomed in, it's nearly impossible to read the text boxes, they are so small.

Technically speaking, it is possible to scale up windowed game, at least with Windows 10.
You can go to the game's Properties in Steam -> Local files -> Browse local files.
Then you right-click CW3.exe, go to Compatibility tab and press Change high DPI settings.
Then in High DPI scaling override check the checkbox and select one of System options.
Works great for me with ingame graphics. It uses your system DPI scaling setting.
Looks much better now with 150% scaling on a 4k monitor :)

CW3 predates UI scaling in Unity and even predates their UI controls. We are also not aware of any current GPU support for scaling in games.

The only option is to alter the native resolution of your monitor temporarily. I realize that has other drawbacks, but there is no alternate solution.

Yeah, if you have a 4k monitor running at 4k and it's physically less than 32+ inches, you have to run the game full screen and set the resolution to something like 1080 in the game settings. That will make everything larger by changing the GPU's output resolution while the game is running.

I would like to bump up this thread. I have a mac laptop hooked to a 1080p monitor (it's a very old mac). But even in this resolution fonts and UI elements look really tiny. I have to sit almost next to the monitor in order to read text.

So, my question is really simple - is it possible to make the ui bigger? The only work-around that I know is to unplug the monitor and change scaling in the monitor settings. But this makes everything larger including mac's own UI.

I have fullscreen resolution set to 1080, however each time I launch the game it goes back to 4k and I have to open the settings and change it again. Is there something I can drop in a config file or something to make it launch at 1080 properly?
