Looks strange to see Kane there too, but I guess you're playing coop.
I can t find how to hop over the machines..
Wish key on the keyboard to hop...( Jump ) ...?
Another handy feature is shoulder view switching (which shoulder the camera is over), which IMO all 3rd person view games should have. Mine is set at Z, but not sure what the default is.
Do note as well that on Extreme mode it's often wise to not snap to cover in some situations, and instead just crouch and shoot closely around objects. You're far less exposed to gunfire that way.
There are onscreen prompts that should show what to use for cover, swap cover, and vaulting though, so you must not have paid attention to them at the start of the game.
