Some time ago, (about 18 months?) Valve engaged a bunch of untrained students to convert their existing catalogue to work under the new Linux-based Steam OS.
They seem to have done a pretty creditable job on Half-Life 2, but they really messed up Half-Life Source. Since then, Valve have done nothing to repair the damage.
And now the Steam OS and the Steam Machine appear to be dead in the water. And nobody is making any announcements. Go figure.
T:- )
This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, right? You're just messing with him. That or you got mixed their PipeLine school program with their SteamPipe update.
Haha, You've gotten Steampipe and Pipeline confused silly. Steampipe is a new system for Source, it involves VPKs and stuff.
You most likely edited the script files to the weapons, which is located in the Scripts folder.
Half-Life 1 had a Source Code release, while Half-Life Source didn't, that is officially. A few years back a Source Code leaked for Source Base 2007, it included, CSS, DODS, HL1S, HLDMS, HL2, EP1, EP2, some EP3 code, TF2 (Along with the version dubbed Invasion), TFCS (previously unreleased), and Portal.
There was also the 2003 leak of the HL2 Beta Source Code which also included HL1S.
