Half life source weird graphics glitches on residue proccessing HELP?
Ok so I went here to post my7 problem so on the mission residue processing I keep getting weird graphics glitches never happend before and only here. I saw another thread thath ad the same problem. my specs are
core i7 3770k
gtx 660 ti sli x2
asus maximus v formula mobo.
all gpu drivers are updated and drivers are up to date I can run everygame no problem but this is wierd. I cant get passed this mission becouse its filling up most of the screen.

same thing happened to me, and on the same level. one thing i want to add, though. why does your pistol look different than mine? I have HL Source as well, but my pistol looks way different than yours.

this is not my pictuer I was to lazy to take one so I found someone with the same problem and posted this but the graphics glitch is the exasct same.

I had some graphics glitch. It was a pain in the ass for sure. But it seemed to be confined to that area. I noticed a few other issues with skyboxes not being cleared from the drawing either, but that was a lil later, and not half as annoying as this one was.

This glitch made it real hard to make the one jump to the one conveyor belt needed. But alas, i got it done. Whats a little extra challenge eh?

That's unfortunately a new glitch that has been introduced into this build of HL:S. Fortunately it only happens in Residue Processing.

Anyway, if you turn off your flashlight, you should be able to remove most of the on-screen glitches.

your wrong about that ever since they started the lunix upgrade ALL YOUR FAULT LUNIX for half life source these errors started happening and now valve is fixing them they really could of had a windows option and lunix option when you lauch the game

disabled multicore rendering, and it fixed the problem in the residue processing level, but now there are more graphical glitches in the Surface Tension level near the big electrical tower... :( fiddled with the graphics options for ages and nothing fixed it.

Nice release, you can switch between different set of glitches xD
