Side Quests help
I wonder if anyone can help me with the side quests... How many are there? And how do you get them? I have done the time travel, fishing and pleasing the Gods...

Solving the present-puzzle in the pyramid to get a very ... special ... outfit for Nate.

@ matscher80 Do you mean the mad hatter or is there another outfit for him that I have missed? That outfit for Nate is something you HAVE to do to move on in the game isn't it?

Mad hatter is not a side quest, the *special* outfit for Nate is after you solve the Pharaoh's concubine puzzle in the pyramid.

@ r1348 Can you direct me to where that puzzle is in the pyramid? I have clicked at everything I can think of in there, and nothing...

It's in the dark chamber to the right of the entrance hall. On the left wall of the chamber are some markings. As long as you carry Tut around, you won't be able to solve the puzzle, because he won't let you. After he left you in the burial chamber, just go back and voila, the puzzle is available - it's Nate only, so don't bother trying with critter or Ivo.

I have been in the chamber with Tut, and without Tut, and nothing. There is nothing for me to click on on the left wall... Maybe it's a bug...

I found this one, but I don't know how to solve it. Some how I always end up with the golem catching me. Has some one a solution for this?

No real bug but an issue caused by old savegames. You need to use a savegame before you have travelled to Lorem Ipsum the first time (from what I have seen with the new sidequests) or someone has to send you a savegame on which the sidequest is already useable on the left wall. I had the same issue on the sidequest in act 5 (igor's costume). When I used a savegame in which I have already entered the castle's front court, there was no option to use the stairs to the cellar. When I used a savegame before I went up to the castle, it was available. Hope that helps.

@Rikuninchen: there is a great guide here how to get the achievements including the correct way how to solve the golem puzzle: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=404255413

Has anyone beaten the Red Pirate at poker? Can't beat him. Even if I have a good hand, sometimes I can't tell him what I've got...greyed out. Is there a way to beat him? I know it's not vital to the story but still......!!!

Beat him on the first try. Greyed out is just part of the game mechanics. You always need to say something "higher" than your opponent. ie if he said he has a Double, you need to ie say you have Triple (even if it is not the truth ;) ). A Double would be greyed out in that case as it is not higher as the other Double.

PS: you can lie - do not forget that :) most of the time he will not doubt if you say that you have 4 of the same and then he has to raise to 5 of the same which you will have to doubt (and most of the time he lied) ;)

Phew. Finally managed to beat him! Thanks for replying. Now I have your attention, I have to ask if there are any plans for more games in this series? I looove them (4th time of playing this one). And there are too many loose ends which need resolving. Surely you can't just leave all those cliffhangers?!?!

Nothing I can confirm to you now as you may imagine :)

Guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed and watch this space then! ;-)

I'm played the final chapter for the second time and have ventured into Igor's old territory. Didn't do this the first time I played. Is this another side quest? Wandered round in there for a while and the only thing I found was the sound of water at one point..."broken pipe?" maybe? Couldn't find dead beetles, creaking floorboard or any of the other things Wilbur mentions. Has anyone else done this?
