As soon as I hit play tape the game says loading and produces the audio but the screen stays black until it reads error and crashes.

I am also having the same issue! I just downloaded the game too! Also if I manage to somehow get into menu and load game. it stays in loading screen forever, then it will crash or it will take me to a pure black screen. Its frustrating because I really wanted to play

Hello everyone, I have released a beta update for those who encounter "Fatal Error", "Shader Decompression Error" and crashes as soon as the game is opened, especially on RTX4090 and some Intel processors. I would be very happy if those who experience these problems can give feedback by joining the "public_beta" branch on Steam. To participate in the beta test, right click on the game in the library, there should be a beta menu in the properties menu. After selecting the "public_beta" option from there, a big update will come to the game. To exit the beta, selecting the "none" option from the same menu will bring the game to the old version. Greetings to all of you and I wish you a good day.

Hello,
I have installed the public_beta but I am still encountering the fatal error mentioned earlier. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue? My computer runs on an Intel 10th generation processor.
Thank you.

Here's how my experience has been so far:

On the first launch after installing the game, my PC took a BSOD and rebooted. Afterward, I booted back up and tried again, and this time it went to a black screen, waited for about 10 seconds, and then crashed out (and kept doing that for subsequent tries at launching the game). I then went to the NVidia Experience and updated to the latest drivers released on 5/21/24, and this allowed me to get to the main menu. If I click "Play Tape", it crashes out and tells me that I don't have enough VRAM. I've tried lowering the graphical options, switching to Windowed/Fullscreen/etc, and reducing the resolution (per the suggestion in the error), but that did not help. I've also tried the public beta, with the same issues happening.

Just checking to see if there might be any other suggestions to try.

Hi guys I just bought the game and I am still having the fatal error every time I try to load it. Despite them updating it on the 20th April it still doesn't work?
