Font Rendering Workaround

In 1.7.2 we put in a workaround for systems that were having issues rendering dynamic fonts.

This workaround might help you if when you start the game, you don't see any menu text. This workaround has been confirmed to fix the issue on Mac systems with ATI cards.

How To Use Font Workaround

* Browse to your Rage Runner folder. The easiest way to do this on Mac and Windows is to
* Right-Click (or Control Click on Mac) on Rage Runner in Steam
* Select Properties
* Go to the Local Files Tab
* Browse Local Files

MAC

* Control-Click the RageRunner-Mac file and select [/b]Show Package Contents[/b]
* Browse to the Resources folder

MAC & Windows

* Create a new plaintext file named defaultfont.txt it should be in the same folder where you see the aRageRunner.stk file.
* Edit defaultfont.txt and insert the single line of text "DroidSans" (without the quotes, see screenshot).

The filename and text are case sensitive. Once this file is in place, you can start the game and now hopefully you will see text!

Doesn't work for me. Late 2013 27" iMac or 2012 Mac Pro with NVIdia 970 (not stock card)
