He's a werewolf . A lycan/ werewolf is not a furry. If you want to get into the nitty gritty of animal/ human things . You have a cosplayer/ neko, a animagus similar to whats in harry potter where you can teansform into a animal at will, you have the lycan/ werewolf which is a step above a magic being transforming into a animal with human traits, than you have the furry wich is a human x animal breed offspring which could be a result from a werewolf/ human. Than you have a furry which could be a being created due to magic or just a evolution of a animal species.

Kyle in this case just isn't a furry. A werewolf is far removed from a furry. Now if he was a were-fur which is a different sub thing. Than maybe but, I just dont see it. Unless the web comics show he's into furry stuff. Otherwise, he's just a werewolf trying to get by on life.

isn't a furry, by definition, an animal with human-like characteristics? Kyle (and werewolves as a whole) seem to fit somewhat well into that category. there's probably something i'm missing about werewolves, and the concept of turning from human to animal probably throws the whole definition of furry out of the window.

i've also tried a little to search up online whether or not werewolves are furries, but there isn't really a clear, definitive answer, with wikifur only describing what a lycanthrope is, so for now, i'd count lycans as somewhat falling into the furry category. i guess it's more so up to your own interpretation
