Absolutely horrible performance

Idk if this game is a miner but considering the fact that it's free and there's no such thing as a truly "free" game, it probably is. Literally no way a game like this should be running so bad.

I haven't had any issues running the game even when I was streaming it.

try tweaking your pc settings, checking power cord on laptop, etc. might just be above your specs, it renders ALOT of individual models on screen in some levels

Steam says you've played for 1 minute. that's not exactly long enough to see how it runs lmao. Also, my sh*tty 6 year old phone can run it fine, i'm gonna assume this is a problem with your pc.

I pressed start and it was lagging like crazy during the first dialogue segments. I don't understand why I would need more time. You're straight glazing this game that's either spyware, or a crypto miner. Proof: Free game

a game being free isn't proof that it's a crypto miner.

example: outcore, vivid/stasis, portal stories: Mel, the murder of sonic the hedgehog, super animal royal, loop-loop dx, and there are a ♥♥♥♥ ton more games i could list out (those were only a few of the games i own in my library).

Yeah, it's pretty common for games to lag for a minute when they first load in. Performance smooths out once it's done rendering the environment, characters, animations, etc. No one else is complaining of performance issues, and again, the game runs fine on a low spec device. How is pointing these things out "glazing" lmfao. A game being free doesn't prove anything, and I sincerely doubt that steam would allow a game with malware to stay up as long as it has. Go outside, brother. Touch some grass. It'll do you good.

I had no issues, if your computers drivers are out of date it will make even simple tasks lag/stutter. if if you have a lot going on the background that can cause issues, or if a piece of hardware is dying it'll cause issues, or if you haven't properly shut down your computer in a while it can cause problems. even if you still think it's for data mining it could be worth running a quick diagnostics check on your computer. you could also have task manager up to see how much of your system is being used before and after opening the game.
also part of the thing with this seems to be to sell a plushie, and I have seen small companies create small free games before they release a larger paid project to show that they know what they're doing and get some traffic to sell that game.
