hey there! I believe the game does have xbox controller functionality - though if you meant PS4 or Switch Pro Controller they don't have that.

As for knapping, that is pretty frustrating. There's like a certain distance you have to be away from the coworker to knap them, it requires some precision.

I confirm that there is support for Xbox Controllers. I played with the Steam Deck and the control prompts are correct.

I haven't tested with a Switch Pro controller yet.

I have a Wireless XBox One controller model 1708, Win10, doesn't work. Can use the glowy center button to launch the Xbox game interface, and Steam Big Picture mode. All buttons test fine, can navigate all the menus, even launch the game. As soon as it launches, it ignores the controller, only showing mouse & keyboard controls.

If steam input is enabled for this game in settings it works, I've tried xbox controller on windows 11, if it is set to default settings it doesn't.

I have an Xbox razer controller which doesnt work ingame. And I have tried to set it to steam input. Makes no difference.

My controller works fine in other games like Vampire Survivors.

Edit2: Not sure what the just deployed update did, but my controller is still not working.

The knap sack ability honestly has a pretty generous range. You don't have to be very close to a coworker to knap them.

My Xbox controller doesn't work , I hate the wads controls because they are hard to use for me. other wise would love to play this.

I was having trouble with the Xbox Series S|X Wireless Controller not working with a wired connection, but after setting "Disable Steam Input" from the controller in the game properties, I was able to use the controller.
