Button keeps disappearing on day 4

I'm on day 4 now on my second game trying to get ending B and I broke into the office on day 4. After that I keep playing and the button disappeared for the first time. Then I did the same again and the button disappeared again randomly at one time. At the third try I couldn't break into the office again because there was tape and no wood anymore (Day 4 still). This time I got further but the button still disappeared. Can anyone help with that?

The button will appear somewhere else. It could be somewhere in the workshop or in another room.
