Somewhat concerned that we'll have to juggle three characters, which means working on and splitting time between three characters...which could mean a world that's potentially 1/3 the size and scope it could be and skills + progression being sped up to accommodate the need to do it three times, which somewhat reduces the enjoyment of a long term goal to work on and cheapens milestones a bit.
I hope not, but I dunno. We have three character slots, probably for a reason, I'm just not a fan of juggling characters. I like to pour all of my energy into one...I play tall, not wide, etc.
I swear I saw somewhere that any class can use any weapons though, but I can't remember where I saw that. I get that having different classes will help when designing combat and bosses for group play and such, but there's no reason to not let your one character swap stuff around when they need to, right?
Perhaps all characters can do all things in combat but the faction they're in will change things?
But anyway, I hope it's somewhat free form. I like hammers and I like heavy armour, so playing with that CryoKnight armour with a set of dual battle hammers would be right up my alley, lol.
Someone on reddit reckons it was mentioned on Twitter somewhere, but I can't find it.
I'm with you though, I'm not a big fan of juggling multiple characters either. Hopefully we'll be able to experience everything of interest on the one character if we want to.
Atleast that is my understanding from all available info.
and ya'll acting like you have to juggle multiple characters? ♥♥♥♥♥, why? play the class you want. If you want to play them all, play them all but at least dont complain about it. Dont make them all more boring and generic because its faster for you obsessive types.
