Even though we have regenerating health and our health regens completely after each combat encounter, lol.
Maybe in dungeons and other harsh places our health won't regenerate naturally, kind of like Destiny when you entered DARK ZONES or whatever, where the light of your resurrection power couldn't reach, so death was "death" - at least for the purpose of that current checkpoint or whatever?
At least that might give Chef a reason to exist beyond a filler skill that makes money or is featured as a quest skill in the future.

Would still appreciate it if we went back to a food healing system across the game though, like using food to recover health after fights. Or for buffs that last 30 minutes and increase in power as the meal increases in quality?
Stuff down some Common Fried Ray wings for +100% wading speed in water for 10m. Stuff down some Prime Fried Ray wings for +100% wading speed in water for 60m.
