Inventory space
I am really enjoying the game. I do have one thing that is hindering my enjoyment though. The lack of inventory space. Can I increase it? I hope so, because if not I don't think I can keep up this back and forth much longer.

I don't think inventory space should increase, but some things could get some added convenience. Like apples and berries, those shouldn't really take up the same space as an entire log, right? Would be nice if we could bring baskets or sacks, and have those fill up with like 24 berries, or 12 apples. Wouldn't really change that much, since you'd be taking the same amount of time to fill them up. Although perhaps for balance reasons you should only be able to carry say, two of them, one in each hand or something, instead of a whole inventory of them lol, I dunno.

Otherwise I kinda prefer if we keep players base stats I.E 24 item limit the same forever, so nobody ends up stronger than the default new player, and instead focus on upgrading or unlocking new methods of convenience in the world itself (such as building a bridge over the Mantuban Mine river, or hacking a new path through the trees in Hopeforest) which makes those constant trips to the bank a little less annoying, once you've invested time to unlock them, etc.

Who knows though. We've got rift technology, so maybe one day we'll have like a portable rift device which gives us access to some hammerspace dimension that can hold another 24 items. That'll be...interesting, lol. Hopefully a reward from a seriously hard quest if it does happen. Or from a new skill which upgrades from like 2, 4, 6 - - - 20, 24 bonus slots as you go from 0-500?

Oh no Greb, who's kidnapped you? I really didnt expect to see you of all people now asking for psudo inventory space of 48 items. Even you're now infected with the "lets make this game so simple nothing is an achievement" bug. It's also unrealistic your character can swing a huge pickaxe at a rock for 15 hours straight and you can run to a bank with 24 bars in your bags but its a game!!

lol :winter2019joyfultearssnowman:

Just a random idea I had considering the rift powers we possess, was thinking it'd be like a pocket riftstone no bigger than the palm of your hand, that required either time or another resource to open, with minimal storage space within. I wasn't thinking like seamless, easy inventory that just functioned like +2 to +24 extra spaces, there'd be some effort involved, of course. As well as needing to grind a skill to 500!

Also the little pocket riftstone itself would take up an inventory slot! Until people complained and forced the devs to add it to your toolbelt anyway, making it no longer a bonus thing you could use if you wanted to a mandatory thing everyone is forced to unlock and use :winter2019joyfultearssnowman:

I like sharing my ideas or speculation even if sometimes it'd make me roll my eyes if it was ever implemented probably, but yeah fear not! You probably won't find me calling for tools that automatically saw logs or cook fish or whatever for you when you catch them lol :winter2019surprisedsnowman:

Oh, I can’t wait for the riftstone toolbelt extension! A stone for every skill! :laughing_yeti:

Why not a riftstone cabinet backpack, it'd be less overpowered than a pocket riftstone, since it only works for one skill at once time and costs a lot of money to attune to a different skill!

Also forces you to hobble-walk everywhere, but that's not a problem, since you no longer need to run to the riftstone!

For real though I guess it's hard to make the distinction but I can talk about lore without asking for things to be added lol :Soembarrassed: we clearly have the means to replicate this rift technology, didn't they mention the cabinets were made by some powerful rift wizard who moved faraway (into a future Episode most likely)?

It's not impossible to see them teaching us how to tinker with the rifts, or at least we hire their services to gain bonuses related to rifts, anyway. Unless of course they just teach us how to riftwalk (which I think is more likely to be taught by Marcus Mint, however).

I'm not saying I WANT these things, just that, y'know...it's a possibility.
