Amethyst Minecart Work + Faction Leaderboards [SUGGESTION]
Hey I was just losing my mind grinding as you do, and it began wandering about thoughts of things that I think would be neat to add to the game. Namely, a new Minecart Work job at the extreme high level and also Faction Leaderboards because I think that'd be cool.

I ignored minecarts because I thought they'd be annoying to move around, which was a mistake as you control them via button inputs, making it honestly really fun and easy, plus you get okay XP and money for it, getting paid as a miner is a rarity for sure! I finally tried one out and I enjoyed it so much I stuck it out until I reached the next tier of ore.

However there's no more minecart work to unlock after 317 but the room looks like it could be cleaned up and support 1-2 extra minecarts. I remember seeing people talking about Amethysts in the main quest, and also about how rare / exclusive they are, so maybe adding a new minecart work job at between Miner levels 480 - 500 would be good? Hauling Amethysts out of the mine from somewhere. It'd give Miners more minecarts to look forward to, and a decent money making method for reaching the zenith or thereabouts.

Also, Faction Leaderboards.

I wouldn't want these to be "sweaty" with ranks or anything, I just think it'd be awesome if you could total every faction members levels in every skill + the total level as well and just had it ranked on a leaderboard somewhere. Just to see which faction had the most levels in any given skill. No competitiveness, no ranks putting you above or below "the other guy" or anything like that, just a bit of fun.

So it could show something like:

Gathering:

Guardians - 22,994
Cryoknights - 18,392
Hammermages - 12,887

Hopeport:

Cryoknights - 49,800
Guardians - 46,239
Hammermages - 36,929

Total Level:

Hammermages - 167,666
Cryoknights - 143,892
Guardians - 101,789

As in the total combined Gathering levels of every Guardian in the game would add up to 42,994 and put them in the lead. Or the combined Hopeport levels would add up to 49,800 for Cryoknights and put them on top. Or every skill level added together puts Hammermages on top with 167,666. These numbers are random examples and not indicative of anything in particular, by the way.

That'd be kind of cool, right? Showing which Faction prefers to do which things, as well as which one has the biggest nerds?

Anyway, just a random suggestion I had. Hopefully maybe they make it in some day! Any extra thoughts or ideas always welcome too!

Well, yay. lol.

Maybe they could find room for a minecart between limestone and fossils too. Like one for gold or silver, I dunno. There's room for at least two more minecarts in that little minecart storage room!

We don't need to be handed them for free either, they could be rewards from quests! Like a quest to prospect for precious things, leading to unlocking gold and amethysts. Silver probably wouldn't work considering the gnomes are touchy about it I suppose. Gold is fair play though, and amethysts could be found after you blow up a wall and find a nice fat stack which the human miners take over and set up a minecart to plunder. I dunno!

But also the leaderboards would be fun too I think. Add a little colour or drama to the faction stuff, without it being anything worth splitting hairs or fighting over, right?
