Will these christmas items be like phats in runescape?
Will they drop again in the future? Has anything been said about them being a one-time thing?

It has been said they are a one-time drop. The items are also individually marked as being from xmas 2024, for what it is worth.

They are unlikely to become like party hats in the sense that they will become worth millions and millions, as it has been said also that they will only be tradeable for other items of the same event. So someone in 20 years playing this game will never be able to acquire one of these hats.

I hope not, but why else would they let us earn like a hundred of the things? Unless they're planning on having the extras melt into nothingness or something after the event, and the extras were just there to facilitate swapping hats around (trading spares for ones you don't have etc, instead of always swapping at a "loss").

Even if they decide to make them tradeable they'll never reach the power status RS rares had, anyone who played regularly already has too many of them anyway. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I'm not sure this game will ever reach the player count necessary to have many people covet these hats, it just doesn't seem like the gaming world cares that much about MMOs anymore.

Would be nice if they changed their mind and allowed them to be gathered every year, but...well, yeah. Fen Research is not in the business of being friendly to future players I guess, lol.

Next year will probably be ugly sweaters. (pure speculation, don't take this seriously).

Hammermage beating someone to death with a giant honeyed gammon on a stick would be pretty funny, lol. Or tossing dual drumsticks at his enemies instead of dual hammers.
