Yeah, 90k of those players are bots lmao
every server has that same bot
Bald man, with goatee, green shirt, brown pants
what a bunch of nonsense. There are bots, yes, but not nearly as many as some people like you claim
but you are free to believe whatever you want
Basically, Imagine that Andrew Gower didn't learn anything from Runescape, tried to fix a ton of "issues" with RPG's by making baffling design decisions...
The result?... A game that has the worst parts of Runescape but 3 times worse, and none of the good from Runescape made it in because he tried too hard to make the game as different as possible from Runescape
Because time is the most valuable resource nowadays, perhaps that's the reason. Also, I had to play like 70 hours to realize the game wanst worth it at this point.
Yeah i do not like the fact that combat as a whole is just one skill like any other. I don´t like this at all. I would like to see the oversimplified combat skill detached from the simplistic skill roster and made more complex.
lol then you should go look at my post about combat and my suggestions
It's quite intensive because you can't get multiple logs from trees for example, but is is fun and well-made; not a bug in sight.
Depending on when you first started playing OSRS/RS2 you might want to jump in now and you'll recognise a lot or leave it until it's a bit more polished. Developmentally, OSRS has far more people, far more time and far more money spent on it but this is solid and does have a massive amount of potential. They might need to hire a couple more staff at some point, even, as the group of people doing the developing is very small currently.
Maybe they can pinch Mod Ash? :P
I do wonder if the world could work with "user generated content" and have some other goals/usage (so long its not a mess or unbalanced). and if there will be skills that aren't based on the same grind.
but its nice to hear that the VIP/members (only?) content got some other things going for it, by how that sounded above.
The problem is that opinions change over time, you cant have a proper opinion with 6 hours played.
i personally disliked the game heavily for the first 1-3 hours, then i got into it and actually liked it.
then after 30 hours it started to become more boring again. and 50 hours in i think that playing it in the first place wasnt a good choice. I dont even think anymore that the game has any potential because runescape exists.
I know that humans are emotional creatures and form their opinion in the moment without looking too far into the future, but this is a problem.
Despite some people always being positive about games, especially when they didnt play it much, that doesnt save a game from dying out because it is simply bad
you are writing this comment, even though you dont know yet if you will be insanely bored from it in another 10 or 20 hours already
it has nothing to do with throwing rotten tomatoes being the popular thing to do
