Gold Farming Bots?

Is the game full of bots now? They have just a number as their name, and when you check their info, it says "anonymous player."

I saw one (the name was "191") farming gold from the chests in the Barracks. It had a pattern to go to each chest, as in, it would open a chest, wait a bit, then open another, and go on this looping re-opening the chests. As I have noticed, the chests respawn every 1min.

They're going to be really disappointed when they realize there's no trading yet and that the chests give garbage for money anyway.

It depends. The amount you get from those chests is pretty random. I got 70 from one, but then I got 450 from another. The bot has been there for a while now.

the electricity probably costs more than what they'd earn if they tried to rmt sell that

@coffee u do realise people have the option to show a name or not, that leaves just a number, people go about there grind in a pattern in this game farming repeating the same farming route, if your leveling say foraging. This does not mean bot.

It's prob just main accounts auto clicking while they sleep

Well, the "191" dude has been there for more than 1 hour now doing the same thing, looping and opening the chests in a very continuous pattern. If that is not a bot, that is someone very coordinated with a lot of extra time in their hand.

But thank you, I did not know there was an option to not show the name.

I'd bet money that it's someone who has recorded a macro on their mouse and gone to sleep.

The hiding your name at lvl 191 is a bit of a giveaway.

Interesting, I didn't think about this possibility, and now knowing that hiding the name is an option, it makes a lot of sense that it could be it.

I did a try for the science and for some chests, I would get 1 silver and 400 bronze, the amount the chests can give is so odd.

So, I guess someone will gonna wake up a lot richer today... hahaha

But now I am curious, what do yous think about this?

Don't think this is evidence of bots? I did the exact same thing for my first ~1 hour of gameplay. Being able to hide your name *is* an issue for potential bots, but that gameplay isn't really an indicator of a bot imo

Am sure trading will only available to premium accounts, so unless there willing to fork out the £65 , there going to be botting for some time until a return.
