Saving a knowledge point for later
I keep getting interrupted when I have an unused knowledge point but I'd rather hold on to it until 20 cooking (for example) rather than use it to get XP or silver

You get knowledge points fairly regularly now that you're 20 in a skill. They don't stack so feel free to use it on xp for the time being, you won't be long without another knowledge point!

Just use it on something. Saving the knowledge point is a waste because you can't earn another whilst you have one. So just use it and keep on skilling to earn another. Rinse and repeat.

They come along pretty quickly. I just buy money with it since tools are so expensive. I don't know if it would be better to buy xp though.

DONT WASTE IT ON GETTING SILVERS. Best to get exp
