I would guess a monthly premium with similar price of Runescape

The Gower Brothers working on this game made the original original RuneScape, so while I'd like to say "Membership will be exactly like RuneScape!" they have also made a ton of changes since then. It's clear they've learned alot over the 20-some years since they worked on RuneScape.

A similar style of game, Ethyrial, released recently that also had a 'founder pack' that was 1-payment forever membership, but uh, from what I know that game hasn't been too popular. All we can do is wait and see what they do with this one.

I'd say it's overwhelmingly likely it will be a monthly payment, but it's odd they call it a "pass" instead of a subscription. Pass implies it'll be something like a battle pass, which I'd prefer honestly but highly doubt will be the choice.

On the Steam page it's stated patch cycles will be called episodes it's possible they'll sell a pass for each episode which could be anywhere from 3-6 months I'd guess per episode cycle

That'd be cool, assuming you only have to pay for the most 'recent' pass, and it'll include previous passes. Even if it's $10 each, coming back to the game after a year or two and seeing you have to buy like 10 DLC is never fun. I'd have no issue paying once for the latest 'pass' and all before it though.

Probably the usual 10-15 bucks a month. Id guess 15.

99.99% positive this will be monthly membership. Either way at least for the first month I’m all over this. I have faith Gower will produce another banger.

They stated that they don't like MTX, and they just want this one payment to have access to all content, i am pretty sure its a monthly price.

Because he said in an article that it's a one time fee. Not a monthly subscription. He specifically said that he doesn't want auto recurring payments at least. Price etc we will have to wait and see the details.

No he has confirmed on twitter that its a monthly sub. Its also already in their EULA
