How do u lockpick?

Title--no matter where/when u click on the lock pins u can't make them go up--
at least I can't. I'm on the first lock in the first town. Is there something else
you're supposed to do for locks besides get the (impossible) timing right?

its not impossible at all, I havent failed a single one yet. When the tumbler hits the top click on it, and itll stay and then itll move to the next one, rinse and repeat. Easy peasy
