Demo - Multiplayer?

Hello! I think after the full release you can't do multiplayer with friends on the demo? I wasn't able to figure it out with friends, and the demo page still says multiplayer is available. Whether it's intentional or not, I thought I would point it out. Just have a few friends that would want to demo multiplayer first before buying and ended up a bit disappointed that we couldn't.

Coop in demo is disabled

steam page says This demo supports 1-4 player online co-op. but as soon as i open the game for join game it says "not available in demo"
