How to do multiplayer in the demo?

Is there multiplayer functionality in the demo? Can't get the room code to generate and wanna make sure what to do before I get my friends to test the demo to see if we'll buy it

Multiplayer is not a feature of the demo, it is why the Join Game button is disabled.
