red tapes bug ?

I played 2 games one of them I found 3 red tapes and then found 4 never 5

I believe they are bugged as I just got 2 from the same shelf. I'm assuming they spawned on top of each other.

Sounds like a serious issue we need to address. Thank you for the report.
Could you please provide some more details about it so we can confirm and fix it?

Did it happen when playing the first scenario (studio) or a different one?
Did you "turn off safe mode" at a computer terminal in order to reach the tape that is locked behind the glowing red doors? This is where most players get stuck and assume there is a bug.

Specifically to DoktorDiesel, getting two from the same shelf is extremely odd did that occur in co-op play or single player?
