Resources are sometimes not being distributed despite having a surplus

I was trying to attain the 450 resident goal on the second level, and I am finding that small storages won't build because they are too far from my plank storage, despite having a surplus. Edit: I built more stock piles closer and closer and they eventually built. Im not sure if the issue is based on the distance, or if the game was slow to send resources. Edit2: So now I have a tool shortage because my wood is not being sent to the sawmills right above it, and this is causing most of my housing demands ...

The Roads

The road system is very unintuitive and frustrating. It is like the road system is actively fighting me. Just alt+f4'd the game out of frustration. Why I can't just make roads wherever I want is weird and not explained well.

Patfinding weird / ho do you supply the houses

Hey, played the game a few hours now. But I cant manage to get the products for level 2 Houses into the houses. I have all the products produced. the are in storages next to the factories. but delivering 3 items per hous per minute for 15 houses which is 45 per Minute seems to be impossible. even when I am building parallel roads, it seems that only one road is used. do you build a grid around the houses (like shown in the tutorial video ingame)? I try to put 3-5 houses on one road. but anywhere is allways...

Improve pathing and speed things up and you'll have my $$$

All I really need for this game to work really well is the ability to define paths, as in, filters to establish which resources are eligible to go through which routes. The resources tend to go the shortest distance from A -> B, but that's often times not the path of least resistance. As a result, multiple resources are lost due to the clog when resources of a certain type taking a parallel path would easily clear it up (and trust me, there are a ton of alternate routes). Road Connections

Hello! I seem to be having problems connecting the resources (like the apple farm and the lumber thing) to the Main Hub using the roads. It looks connected to me but it's not registering as connected.
