What a cool, cool game. It's rare to see a narrative this tight, despite the scope of the story (as it covers generations, literally).
Huge, huge props to the creators, you did something special with this one.

Don't be fooled by my current time played: I played this game on the Nintendo Switch from start to finish in about 16 hours and decided to buy it here to support the devs.

1000xRESIST is the type of game that comes every couple years to reignite your faith in the medium again, to prove that video games can be art, that they can create incredible stories, characters and worlds. This game joins the all time greats for me: ICO, Shadow Of The Colossus, Signalis, Remedy's Control, The Last of Us Part I and Part II and 13 Sentinels as a game that tells a powerful, intense, emotional, raw and humane story that manages to stick with you for a very long time.

An absolute must play and a masterpiece.

One of the most thematically deep, well-written narrative games I've ever played. It's astonishing how much it manages to reckon with in the space of 10~ hours of playtime. and the more I think about my experience with the game, the more I love it. It doesn't make full use of the medium like some of my favourite narrative games (What Remains of Edith Finch always being my go-to) due to it's lack of "gameplay", but that doesn't really matter when it's this good. Stunning visuals and great music only add to the package; if you're looking for a story to get wrapped up in over the course of a weekend, there aren't many better games you could pick. A surefire contender for GOTY 2024 and a must buy.

quite frankly I dont think theres many loose ends or significant plot holes in the game, however, some things have left me thinking, most of them are ironically from chapter 1 so they are not that spoilery if anybody wants to leave any other kind of question to discuss I would be quite open to reply as well! anyway: 1: The pigeon prime, a friend told me it was quite likely a final fantasy 14 reference lol, and hell it might be, but it feels kind of out of place now, did the occupants evolve o...

Help with an optional mission - [Catching up with the sisters]

Hello, I'm currently playing the game on my switch, i'm on chapter 2, and there's the optional mission [Catching up with the sisters] where i have to talk to all the sisters. It seems i am missing one or more of them, because i'm unable to complete it. And i took my time to search everywhere. Are there a way to find them since there are no details, no maps, nor indication where the last ones are ? I am taking any advice or specific spot i might have missed. Thanks in advance....

1000xRESIST is a dark and gripping thriller, set in a far dystopian future where humanity has been extinguished by a disease spread by the arrival of a mysterious alien race known only as the ‘Occupants’. The sole survivor is a teenage girl named Iris, who is not only immune, but impossibly immortal.

In the millennium since this devastating calamity, Iris has created a new society of her own clones who live underground in hiding from the Occupants and their ever-present disease. These clones call themselves Sisters and each one has an assigned function and purpose. They worship Iris as their deity, the ALLMOTHER.

You play as a sister called Watcher. Your role in 1000xRESIST is to relive and interpret the memories of the ALLMOTHER through a process called Communion, with the help of a floating companion named Secretary. But when one of your Communions is interrupted by a horrifying revelation, the weight of a thousand-year-old lie falls upon your shoulders to conceal or unveil.
