You just need to keep doing the related quests in the adventure guild. When you complete them all, the receptionist will be at the guild with an event icon.

There are 3 events that net you 100,000g each. East of tram top of building, 2 on bridge to Ancient Tower. That is what I found, maybe more.

If you have reached 4th layer, you can easily find the ingredient "Angel Flower", near the end of the layer (just before the layer boss).
That ingredient alone allows you to create "Angel Dust", which sells for 40000g per piece.

I found this out today, so I don't know if there is any consequences of doing this.

During my first play through, I was thorough in completing all the quests from around town and in the adventures guild. By the end of the game, it was hard to NOT have enough money to beat the game on a virgin play through.

This game has a bit of a difficulty balance issue in your favor. I had over power weapons and close to best armor in the game by the beginning of the third layer of the dungeon. I was clearing bosses at 5 to 7 levels UNDER the recommended mark and only enemy magic attacks could deal more than a single point of damage to me.

As to unlocking the brothel, you need to complete a specific series of quests from the adventures guild. The quests are issued by the brothel, so you should be able to figure out which ones. I THINK they become available with the start of the third layer, assuming you've been diligent about increasing you alchemist and adventurer guild ranks. In fact, I don't think you can get your ranks high enough prior to having access to the third layer.

To actually work at the brothel you need a minimum lewdness score of 30. The whirlwind on the stair well can be used to increase your lewdness with out losing your virginity. The hot springs can be used ONCE ONLY to increase your lewdness without losing your virginity. There's an event near the end of the 4th layer that also can safely increase your lewdness value. There is in an event somewhere near the middle of the 5 layer, but I don't know if it's safe or not.

Sell Gold Nuggets for 25000 each

Reach second Layer

get rank 1 alchemist

Enter the Adventure's Guild -> New NPC called Materials -> Layer 1 -> Shiny Rock

Keep repeating until you have 90 (or run out of money)

-> go to the market and speak with the "Shiny Rock" NPC and get as many Gold Nuggets you can

Go to item shop and sell the Gold Nuggets

Repeat until you have had enough

to break it down, for 1 Gold Nuggets., you need 10 Shiny Rock.

So you spend 10000 per 1 Gold Nuggets. And you get 25000 for selling. Aka 15000 profit per Nugget. And if you sell 9, that's 135000 profit.

Also, if MC is virgin (anal and oral sex don't matter), keep doing the guest next to the guard station until at one point you meet an unicorn

Also, if you beat the optional boss in the last dungeon, go to the Adventure's Guild and speak with the NPC who can tell virginity.

I forgot how much each gives, but it was a few hundreds of thousands

you only need to have enough fame to unlock said quest

there are tons of enemies who won't take MC's virginity;

Anything oral and anal won't affect MC remaining a virgin.

And there are actually a lot of random enemies you missed, that are very safe.

Try losing x2 against the elf. Lose against the big tree. Lose against the pixies. And this is just the 1st layer. Also, stay away from the trap on the 5th, however, there are 4 massage related Angle and Fallen Angles, they are safe to trigger

Best way to make money is to buy 99x Silk Cloth and 99x Cotton Cloth from fabric shop and use them to make 99 Angel Robes. Each Silk Cloth and Cotton Cloth cost 400 per piece, so to craft one Angel Robe, you need 800 gold. Each angel Robe sells at 1850 per unit, so you make 1050 gold profit per Angel Robe.

So with 99 Angel Robes you will make profit of +103 950 Gold per run.
Its also a early crafting item and no need to waste time on adventuring because all materials are from same shop.

Not being able to take the money into NG+ is a major time-sink I'm not willing to commit to doing more than once or twice...

The sell icon is grayed out for all shops, why is that? How do I unlock selling?

It's been a while since I last played this game so my memory is slightly vague but I think there is actually only one store that let's you sell things. It's the only actual "store" in a building, not a market stall. The building is to the left of the south-western most market stall (I think said stall was the food vendor) and to the right of the black smith building. I think (again, been a while, memory vague) there is a quest giving NPC just outside the building.
