If you are getting a virus notification, your software is out of date - there is no virus! :)
And if you reviewed our game, claiming it's a virus, please do us a solid and remove that negative review. It is not deserved.

Norton AV is not liking the EXE DRM for some reason. We're going to change it to see if it doesn't act up.

We've made a change to the already existing EXE. just changed the DRM. Hopefully it cooperates better with Norton AV.

FYI, Avast is also acting up as well.

@devs you can also contact the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AV companies and ask them to manually review your EXE and whitelist it, because the problem is actually on their side, not yours. My AV suite (Eset Smart Security) did not detect anything..

On my laptop, Avast had no complaints.
---

Incidentally, if you use Avast and it does read the .exe as a virus, Avast does allow you to both add it to the "exclusion" list (effectively whitelisting it on your system), and it also allows you to report it as a "false positive" to Avast themselves.
You may have to then write a small report explaining what the program actually is, but it does allow you to make them know.

But, as I said, my copy of Avast is up-to-date, and it had no objections to this game.

I use the free version of AVG, and it also detect Skyborn as a false positive. :steamsad:

I use the paid version of AVG I think it's safe to say AVG in general is flagging your game as a false positive.

AVG still false-flagging Skyborn as a "generic virus" threat. Software & database are up to date.

You might need to go to the avg website yourselves and submit the exe for testing with the "application whitelisting" option for software vendors. ~> https://secure.avg.com/submit-sample

AVG still flags it as a virus

If it's not a false positive, then you are claiming this game is a virus?

Okie doke.

Norton randomly just detected it as a high risk file (Heur.AdvML.B) and removed it.:steamsad:
