Technically there's nothing stopping you from selling all cards from other kings and buying out the merchant to catch up later. Winning should be possible. It's an interesting challenge idea. Could be used for an achievement even.

yeah but, would nice if you got all of your own cards, greater chance of getting needed cards. Especially you are playing a cemetery or a speed king of greed build.
