Endless Mode IS TOO DIFFICULT
I've already played this game for eight hours. As a simple pixel-style tower defense game, the fact that it can keep players engaged for over eight hours clearly shows that it's very well-designed and distinctive. Although, to be honest, the gameplay is quite repetitive—especially in the late game where it all comes down to a comparison of stats between both sides—it’s still quite fun.

I do have two suggestions:

Difficulty Levels: The game currently offers four difficulty levels, which I believe is sufficient. Once players get the hang of the game's mechanics and develop their own strategies, increasing the difficulty doesn't necessarily make the game more enjoyable.

Endless Mode: In endless mode, after year 30, the battles between the enemy and my units lose all strategic value—it becomes purely a numbers game. For instance, my units might have high health, damage, and attack speed, but the enemy eventually overwhelms with sheer numbers, sometimes even exceeding 590 units. What's more, the difficulty seems to multiply with each passing year. Even when I select the easiest difficulty for endless mode, it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I suggest rebalancing endless mode to follow a more gradual difficulty progression.

But it is a numbers game. Always has been. The whole point is to get bigger numbers. It's like balatro. And if enemy outpaces you in scaling you clearly didn't do good enough job with scaling your numbers.

It's very possible to pass year 200 on Endless baron right now. You need to scale more. %%% is good. And yeah, of course it's a numbers game. What else would it be?

There's several different ways to abuse a unit or tower to go nearly endless in Endless mode. If anything it's almost too easy.
It's interesting to see how far you can cheese it but it needs to turn into a more of a real game mode. Like more ways to rearrange or upgrade your buildings to add another layer of strategy to it.

since the most recent patch I had a game at over 260 years and my game crashed because my troops were too big. this is after the game has been super optimised lol. every turn matters in the long run. missing a turn or two without getting/ upgrading your blacksmith or beacon in the early game can set you back dozens of years in the late game
