Can you unequip items?

Newbie here sorry. Can you not unequip items? Or is this how the game is?

You can only swap, sorry, lack of feature. Until I add it, please use another item to unsocket.

Ok ty, i had a powerful item and wanted to use it on another character and not lose it. Awesome game btw i love it!

Thanks for already clarifying this. Hope we see an update with the next patch
I guess in the meantime ill just buy a handful of common junk so i dont confuse it with items im actually using.
And then use that stuff to swap items to whatever char im currently playing.
