Feedback & Suggestions
Hello!

Really enjoyed the demo, great stuff so far. Games that are cutesy, fun and accessible for young children are exceedingly rare on Steam and this is a great mix of many familiar mechanics from Mario & Kirby + some interesting additions and twists. The menu screen's secrets were also a great collection of easter eggs.

Suggestions:
1) Please add an option to enable an indicator on the edge of both sides of the split-screen that always points in the direction of each player's co-op partner. My young daughter was having a great time platforming and exploring, but was having a very hard time keeping track of where I was due to all the bushes/grass/trees/etc breaking line-of-sight. This was the only sorely missing feature when we played. An example splitscreen game that has that type of indicator is Paw Patrol World.

2) Perhaps give some hint for what each power does. Maybe we simply missed it, but for example, we never figured out what the flower's hook power does. (on a side note, would have been cool if the color of the flower absorbed influenced the color of the flower the character turns into -- that would also open the door for adding more color choices for kids to feel creative and a sense of personalization by choosing).

3) Maybe add a lower difficulty level that, for example, slows down the chase sequences and also other timed sections like the rolling acorn. The chase sequences were challenging even for me, and the unusual flipped perspective of course added to the difficulty. I think a difficulty where the chase and dangers are slowed down would have made it much more engaging instead of it turning into a solo run for me to get us through it. The rolling acorn was basically just an unpassable zone for her. If there was a more generous timing window, I think it would still be exciting for younger kids to get the timed running/dodging experience of it.

Thank you for reading and keep it up!

Hi! Thanks for playing! Mario and Kirby are definitely some of the big influences and inspirations into this game.

Love the suggestion on the indicator to help players not lose each other. Have this marked for inclusion in the next update very early next year. The update is focusing on co-op so we really want to make everything about it as fun, accessible and robust as possible.

On the money about the hints for powers. Currently, the demo is a little bit of a showcase on the powers but for the actual game we've got a lot more focus on contextual powers and the onboarding around them. Hoping to get some of that in the demo updates soon!

We'll absolutely be looking at adding in a whole bunch of accessibility options for players to be able to alter their settings to make the game as enjoyable for them as possible. Currently, we've just added a toggle on/off for invincibility mode but will expanding on that in the near future.

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback. Excited to show you what's still to come!
