Weapon Jams
Why is the rate of weapon jam / malfunction so high? I feel it is not an enjoyable mechanic and it's so frequent, especially in a large fight, that it feels like it is a mechanic implemented to lower DPS rather than to throw a spanner in the works at an inopportune time.

I feel that it needs to be tweaked, or have a different implication to have any true value.

*edit - does ammo type used effect the % of malfunction chance? I can't look up the help / ammo description ingame.

Ammo is a bit funny, as you have to equip in the inventory section for each weapon. All weapons default with Low Quality Ammo, so you should switch the Common Ammo after crafting a bunch of it.

I have also noticed that the more proficient a soldier is with a weapon, the less jams occur.

Cheers for the replies. :steamhappy:

Yes, I'm only running stock ammo, so that's the cause of the jamming issues I'm experiencing. I've a ton of other ammo stored up, but I wasn't too sure as to when / if it'll be handy later on so I am a bit conservative with it's use, as I haven't left the first map (still finding the 7 companions).
