Anyone having game controller issues?

Providing answers to the following items might help resolve the issue.

1. What did you do to trigger this issue?
2. What specific symptoms are you experiencing?
3. What version of the OS are you using?
4. Which controller driver did you install?
5. What is the model of the controller you’re using?
6. Are there any other input devices connected besides the controller?

I'm using a PS5 controller but ether the XBOX buttons or keyboards buttons pop up.
It would be nice to have a option to manually swap what buttons are displayed.

어제 아침일찍 플레이해서 11월 1일 패치 전까지 8시간동안 이상없었음.
패치 후 간헐적 패드는 켜져있는데 게임 내 입력이 멈춤->키보드 마우스로 전환 후 저장 등은 됨->저장 후 게임 종료하거나 곧바로 패드 다시 재연결시 게임 멈춤.

패드 종류 베이더4프로 / 이외 레이저 무선 마우스 연결..
엘리트 패드 유저도 같은 증상으로 게임 진행안된다고 하더군요

Lenovo legion go controllers, version 0240909A, Windows 11. After short period of playing, turn off controller inputs, triggers, buttons, sticks. They don't work. Help only close the game, but only with task manager.

I'm on an Xbox controller and mine does the same thing. All inputs shut off after a couple minutes

Same here, using xbox controller but will stop working after dozen of minutes into the game. But the same controller work fine on other games.

i have to press the fire button 3 times to fire and 3 times to stop fire, i am using a ps5 controller

same here with Lenovo legion go. cuts off randomly and doesn't come back. Please fix it?

Not sure if it is relevant to this post.
I'm using her steam deck with everything default. Steam OS on the latest version.

Everything is fine. Controls, graphics and such.

switch on the vertical mouse button when this happens and play with right controller detached. This is the only quick solution I have been doing.

Thanks bud, but I'd rather have them fix it instead of playing like that lol. It's an allright game, past time activity until Stalker 2 comes out.

Enable steam input for controller. fixed!

Bumping this for anyone else having this issue. Using a controller the game would lose all control and ramp CPU usage to 100% until I force quit it in task manager. I found that disabling Steam's controller input for this game fixed it. I'm using a PS4 controller and it says my controller isn't supported, but it works just fine anyway.
