Your favorite team composition

Just wonder what team comp is the best in your opinion.

My current setup is Bonnie (squad leader), Dail, Boomer, Beo. Switching between firing and defensive formation with Dail equipping LMG or pistol + shield respectively depending on the situation

[LCG]

Tankless team:
Isabella, Bonnie, Beo and Cate.
Isabella squad leader with SMG.
I use LMG on Beo for his 40% bonus ammo skill.
Bonnie AR and Cate SR.

With Tank:
Isabella, Bonnie, Beo and Irina.

[Larson]

Isabella as team leader with AR
Rico with Marksman rifle
Bagheera with Shotgun
Dail with Machinegun

The key reason for this composition is that these four are simply my favorites) But not only these four, so in the future, perhaps, I will reconsider the squad composition... or not)
By the way, after what point does Irina become an available fighter again?

I'm wondering the same. I just moved to the Korea base with a few world missions completed. I think I'm at the mid game? I heard Irina is the best shield guy (even vs Lesser?).

I'm not sure I should have a tank who focus on shield more (Irina and Lesser) or an off-tank who is focusing more on DPS (Dail) more though.

I wonder why you chose Isabella instead of Ratty? Isn't Ratty skill basically an upgraded version of Isabella's?

You get Irina when you get access to the spacecraft at the end of the citadel. Shields start to fall off pretty hard when you start doing challenges unless you're using Irina, and even they break pretty fast. 2.2k block points just gets deleted instantly by any level 12 boss, and even non tanky characters are tankier then an SD, so I usually use an SD for early game, and swap to full DPS team at the citadel.

Tbh, I just use the characters I like appearance and animal wise. Which is, in order from 1-4,
Isabella, Snow, Dail, Beo.
But the best dps setup would prooooobably be...
Bonnie, Dail, Boomer, Ratty
from my experience and knowledge of the game mechanics.

For referance, the highest DPS weapons in the game are:
LMG > SMG >>> BR >= AR >> Shotgun > DRM > SR
Having one AR or BR on your team is extremely helpful for the grenade launcher, and also Bonnie makes a great squad leader because of her movement speed.

Beat citadel bosses and repair the space craft. Than she joins.

Irina is the best shield tank due to her active skill. But she additionally comes with bonus dmg. vs machines. You are not "forced" to use pistol / shield on her at all, in fact a lot of the weapon type related skills are kinda insignificant, like those measly bonus damage on certain weapon types.

Those weapon damage bonuses don't seem a lot because they're isnignificant, but they also happen to be for the second best weapon type in the game, which is SMG's. But yeah, Irina with an LMG against specifically machines would probably be pretty good. I don't really use SD's for challenge mode or anything in citadel and higher though, they are just too squishy.

Their exclusive weapons. I'm not sure if an LMG would beat their buffs, and even if it did, it'd be close. But that aside, you definetly want at least one AR or BR on your team for the grenade launcher, so you'd still keep Bonnie using an AR for example.
