Yet Marvel rivals, a game that also had a alpha beta or whatever, looks ten times better and much more appealing. Proper UI and a better feeling UX. I dont wanna say smite 2 is bad, my my impressions from what i was aloud to play were all poor.

You know what a concept is right? Litteraly just the visualisation of something you have yet to even start working on. And even with what they have they aren't just just making them 1 to 1. They are revisiting and modernizing each one. So what's so crazy about it that its taking time when they still have to do 90% of the work.

These are just a few things that stood out. I’ve been around since season 2, and this hurts my soul.

Skill settings are an all or nothing toggle. I like some skills set to display ground targets and some to be instant. That’s a game breaker for me.

Buying items felt like LOL, but it felt thoughtless. Mostly new items., with a new purchase mechanic. Complete chaos. It needs an overhaul.

The graphics are garbage, but I assumed they wanted it to look like the old alpha/beta graphics for fun (hopefully) I hate it.

If you’re going to limit modes for alpha, maybe don’t set it for CQ only. Low gold income and pressure out the gate. At least make joust or slash available so we can get a better feel.

The CQ map and graphics felt like a downgrade.

I’m mostly talking about game breaking settings and mechanics that should have been worked on before everything else. I made a small list.

Change is there for a reason, the old system was stale and not dynamic at all, it was always the same and hardly ever greatly impacted the game or its characters in major ways. Having more flexible builds with some crazy items will make the meta less samey. We'll have more viable picks around the board if they have more options against different match ups.
