Forum Activity/Conduct
Sadly, the steam forums have not been a great place to foster discussion and dialog, and the result of this has been a huge crossing between those in support, and against what NK is doing. This is something we never intended for, and its heartbreaking...

As many of you already know of me/us, I am not one to typically silence what people say, or remove those who have things that can be seen as "negative". Even the concepts of "abusive" we sadly have given a lot of slack to. I feel its important to be aware of how people percieve things, and hiding those things said, solves very little, if nothing at all. With the exception of a single incident over the past several years, only one person has ever been banned by Nerd Kingdom, and it wasn't an easy thing to do.

However, as a result of mass confusion, hysteria (in some cases), and general animosity, I am asking my team to NOT engage on steam forums, until our product is out for testing with the community, and we have productive things to speak of. When some of my most understanding, and patient team members are drawn into defending their own personal life, and how they spend their time, I need to draw that line.

We won't go as far as shutting down these forums, or stopping anyones ability to share their distaste for the decisions we have made, but I also don't want the people who spend most of their life, making this game/platform for all of us, to feel the pressure of speaking against masses who have bits and pieces of information. Truthfully, this is all on me, and my inability to properly centralize all information in one place, explaining myself, and my intentions.

To those of you that are "supporting" NK, and have stood behind us, thank you. Your messages to the team, and standing up to share clarity when it doesn't stand, inspires. But I'll ask you, as my own team and community, to also not engage with negativity, as to not get caught in cross fire.

For those of you who feel cheated, abondoned, confused, or outright broken about the situation with TUG, and the time its taken, you are more than welcome to reach out to me personally to share your thoughts, and even get the needed clarity from me. I can be reached here ino @ nerdkingdom.com, and have never backed out of dialog. If you feel its important for your voice to be heard in public, and need to express your thoughts here, and it helps, its an open platform, and you are welcome to share, so long as it doesn't attack members of the community, or specific members of the team. Ill put myself up for it, feel free to insert name on that part, as I have been the final call for everything this project is.

For now, all our team can do is drive to complete what we have set out, and let our work speak for itself. We have not abondoned this project, we have turned down every "
opportunity" to do so, from various investors and publishers, who wish for access to our talent or technology. We are committed to this community, and to seeing our vision through.

I will continue to make decisions for this team, and the future of TUG, that I feel are in everyon'es best interest. Sometimes ill be wrong, and all I can do is pickup and learn from those errors, but all the time I must make a decision I think is best, even when it isn't always clear why.

xoxo,
stupid beard face guy who stole everyones money and ran, then went to live in his car, who is actually making a browser based clicker game, but not before he sold his soul to a chinese mobile publisher

I think that's the best call you could have made and you guys are doing the best you can. Keep up the good/hard work. You'll get more work done and your team will be happier this way.

Was it something the game did/didn't have or are you jumping on the bandwagon of lack of updates/dev progress?

your company will go broke and when it does i will be there to laugh cause he who laughs last laughs hardest remember that when your company is gone :) Edit : You put the game out under early access under the understanding that yes it is early acess and not finished but the the look is only thing that has changed a tiny bit in 3 years you say you are working on graphics bug fixes whatever but were is the changes. I have been opening my game to check for changes but nothing has been changed in 3 years except it looks a little bit better graphics wise btw silencing your dev makes you look more guilty and makes people more frustrated with your game and company me being one of those people that is not a very good way to do business with customers.

The game in the state I find it in now, is still playable. You can still do much with what you have in a survival sandboxy type thing. I'm actually not mad about paying for it now that I've booted it up and had another go. It has a certain feel to it that I'm really kinda finding unique. I am sad that it won't go any further though. It really has something to it. I wish I could help restore it the way it seems to have been going in my own project space.
