>Dramatic pause for effect<
Aaaand nope. It crashed again; how ever it gave me this: https://drdump.com/UploadedReport.aspx?DumpID=3128796&SecondVisit=1
I don't know if this will be useful for not. I can still enter and exit full scren with Alt + enter as well as play game just fine as long as I don't need to go to the options menu.
It'll look like this:
windowed=true
resolutionX=1920 (it's likely set to something weird and not supported by your monitors)
resolutionY=1080(it's likely set to something weird and not supported by your monitors)
monitorIdx=0
windowPosX=25
windowPosY=25
windowWidth=1920(it's likely set to something weird and not supported by your monitors)
windowHeight=1080(it's likely set to something weird and not supported by your monitors)
IF your monitors support this change it to
1280X720
and for now, don't swap between windowed and full-screen.
We're working on a patch for this Options crash that we should have out sometime next week.
resolutionX=1366
resolutionY=768
monitorIdx=0
windowPosX=25
windowPosY=25
windowWidth=1366
windowHeight=768
resMode=0
sdl_gamecontroller="addef0be000000000000504944564944,PPJoy Virtual Joystick 1,platform:Windows,a:b4,b:b5,x:b6,y:b7,back:b8,start:b10,guide:b9,leftshoulder:b11,rightshoulder:b13,leftstick:b14,rightstick:b15,leftx:a0,lefty:a1,rightx:a6,righty:a7,lefttrigger:a2,righttrigger:a3,dpdown:b2,dpleft:b0,dpright:b3,dpup:b2,"
volMusic=1.000000
volSfx=1.000000
Which is supported by both my build in Laptop's monitor as well as my extarnal plugged in I use for gaming. My laptop is only 1366 by 786, but plug in I use for gaming supports 1980 by 1080.
I am thinking the game might be confused by the duel monators, parhaps? Or maybe I had the game running and my screen might of been unplugged. That might of happened, honesty. If use Alt enter command for full screen, it goes between windowed, full screen laptop full screen plug in monitor.
My monitor is set to 2560x1600. wfEngine.ini didn't exist for me initially. The workaround was to press alt+enter to switch from windowed to full screen mode. Then it stopped crashing. I could go to Options and set my resolution to match my monitor's. Now the ini has been created, which looks like this:
windowed=false
resolutionX=2560
resolutionY=1600
monitorIdx=0
windowPosX=25
windowPosY=25
windowWidth=2560
windowHeight=1600
resMode=0
sdl_gamecontroller="addef0be000000000000504944564944,PPJoy Virtual Joystick 1,platform:Windows,a:b4,b:b5,x:b6,y:b7,back:b8,start:b10,guide:b9,leftshoulder:b11,rightshoulder:b13,leftstick:b14,rightstick:b15,leftx:a0,lefty:a1,rightx:a6,righty:a7,lefttrigger:a2,righttrigger:a3,dpdown:b2,dpleft:b0,dpright:b3,dpup:b2,"
volMusic=1.000000
volSfx=1.000000
A patch would be nice! While you are at it, please make it so I can make the A button be the Confirm button, and B the Cancel button. It's annoying that you can't, simply because it interferes with the jump button as things are at the moment.
I solved starting a "New Game", then when you start to control Shantae goes to option to change the resolution and the game didn't crashed.
Hope this work for someone with that problem :)
