Will multiplayer be cross compatible?

Can I still play with my friends that have the original game? None of them have VR.

Human Fall Flat VR is a standalone game, so it isn't possible to play multiplayer with players playing the original game.

This is a really bad decision. I love this game, but it's sad to see y'all take all the wrong turns.
I've been asking for VR support for so long, and while I'm glad to see it finally happen, it's extremely disappointing to see it happen THIS way.

Us VR players want actual VR gameplay and full crossplay. Most of us are fine with paying for the VR support, but not if it's so half-assed like this.

yeah, I'm happy to pay full price for the VR, but separating the playerbase does suck. I don't play HFF with randos so that just leaves solo if I cant play with my non-vr friends. Not sure if thats enough of a draw for me.

Ah, that's not a good decision. Flat and VR should be able to play together. All my friends play on the Montitor, so it's difficult with multiplayer in VR. A VR option in the original game would have been the better decision to be able to play with everyone in multiplayer. I would also have agreed to a paid VR DLC option. Unfortunately, it's only half-baked as it is. Too bad.

Unless its crossplay with the quest and psvr, this game will die fast. PCVR Games typically die fast and isnt the smartest choice to invest in unless there is crossplay.

This is definitely a bad decision, HFF's pleasure lies in playing with friends, but most people (at least I think) don't have that many friends who have VR.

Because they went for the most simple and cheap way to make it. They bought the mod from the creator and released it as a separate game so that they wouldn't have to develop it to work with the base game.
