What are the six endings? (Spoiler Alert)

Just finished the game. According to the internet there are actually 3 major endings with variations giving a total six. What are they and how do you get them? I can't seem to find any walkthroughs at this point.

To summarise the three endings I got were:
1) Give the Godslayer to the other person to become a God.
2) Take the Godslayer for your own use and become the next Theocrat
3) Destroy the Godslayer and become the next High Inquisitor.

I played choosing the good options during the game so I was considered a benevolent defender.

Can the developers or others shed light on what the other endings are?

I think that you can make the decision with Evanger before getting to this ending. I don't remember exactly how this would affect the outcomes, but I think you will be able to find yourself :)))))

Lol you know the game is old when the developers can't quite remember themselves...well others chime in.

The decision about Quova doubles all the options to make it 6 :) - you can either slay him, or let him live.

So, since the game has sequels...What happens to the main protagonist to reach the state the sequel is?

I totally forgot but definitely was not a major plot point in Shadows Awakening which I also finished. I think she disappeared at some point after a while. I do recommend Shadows Awakening as it feels like a very unique RPG just like one. When I played Shadows Awakening it did not have a New Game Plus mode which I thought was a shame since there's no way to collect/unlock all the heroes in one playthrough.

for disappearing you mean death, or going to Brasil on a permanent vacation xD

Yeah, it's a meme, and it seems she did just that lol...Such a shame, what is even the point of using the same universe as the original then? They could have just created a new universe, and leave the legacy of the Heretic game as it is, with multiple canon endings and the MC fate in the hands of the player...It's just depressing when you spend hours perfecting your character, growing attached to it, and choosing the best ending for it, just to get ♥♥♥♥♥ over in the sequel
