New Image system?

Can someone explain what is the new system? is it just cosmetic? Also where do i use the image stone?

A system to unlock alternative art of a character, each alternate art also gives slight specific stat boosts based on the rarity for now, image stones you use to upgrade those alternative images of characters

Thanks, sucks that i don't use any of the major battle characters in my party, so i guess no upgrades for me :P

every character has at least 1 image from the dlc, 3kingdoms and major battle characters have 2(excluding ninja wars)

I wasn't aware that the dlc skins had stats... on one hand this is good as it makes it so it helps with progression, but in the other hand i really did not want to make every char into sexy girls, Erich von Manstein became Harley Quinn .-.

you dont have to use them, upgrading the skins give you stats by default so you can choose whichever you like most, I also do not enjoy the first wave of art that got added but these newer ones actually make some characters cooler, so there is some hope there

Thanks a lot for sharing this, so i can upgrade the alt skin and use the default ones. Yeah i really like the new art from this newer update, much better than the ones from the dlc!

I really like the new artworks, even if they are 'wai-fuized', not because of the sexier artwork, but because of the fingers all that. Some of the first gen artwork is nice, but they dont have hands, or their fingers are messed up.

I know it's all AI-art, but I prefer the ones with better fingers.

granny and qianqian don't have green image?

The green images are from the DLC, there are still a few characters who dont' have those, but they will likely be coming soon.

Also, I want to add for people who might be worried about missing out on stats and stuff, the amount you get from these skins is extremely minimal.
The green skins give 5% ATK, MATK and SPD. This is additive with the bonuses you get from STR, INT, and AGI. As well as the bonuses from skills. The bonus is smaller than having a single extra green skill maxed at level 30. Don't fret too much. In endgame at least, this bonus is like a 1-2% dmg boost a lot of the time. It's a resource sink for major battle keys if you're farming them for exp already but that's about it.

The extra stats is so small that you dont even notice it lol
