Stuck on loading screen

Now that the game is out, I launched it and selected the creature I wanted to play as. After that, I get to the loading screen and it freezes and nothing happens.

ok o.o some how I'm able to load in fine with no issues ? does anyone have GeForce ? in a way as I got it and no issues has happen so wondering if this issues if they are stuck on loading screen ? but i could be wrong

still not working and getting stuck right after selecting animal to enter the game. It still gives the message "Video memory has been exausted (1199. (some more numbers) MB over budget). Expect exremely poor performance. " I had to close it down through Alt-tab, Steam, stop game. Im about to delete the game if I dont see any change.

Hi, yea same here saying generating reefs and have wait 5 min every time i have test it....but sadly i can play it and test how the game is.

I pushed an update just now so you can check to see if that fixes it FINGERS CROSSED

It fixed it but now my game is crashing a little after i played but its prob my own computer

NO SHOT! HURRAYYY the first part is such good news. That does lead me to believe it is indeed a matter of optimizing the game so hopefully I can keep improving it and get it to a place where you dont crash at all. Thanks for the feedback

Felt like that message was a little too vague when I tried after the update it worked I loaded in and got to play the game but I was a starfish and I couldn't swap to anything because you need to be above an animal for that and starfish can't swim so i went back to the menu to reselect I deleted the animal saved under starfish and my game crashed and everytime since then when I go to the animal select screen before I can even see the animals or options it crashes when I was playing I did see a message every once and a while that said something like video cant handle or something like that, also it still crashes with all the graphics at the lowest
