Praetorians doesn't launch on windows 10.

Hi! I have purchased Praetorians and I can't launch it on windows 10. What should I do and what are those mod compex?

Hi! Praetorians Mods Complex v2.8.0 is a multilanguage multimode (4 modes in one package).
And there are very many customizable add-ons.

Thank you allgrey!!!! This is it, enable direct play fixed the problem!

In Windows 10, search for "turn on and off Windows Features", a new window pops up, under Legacy, check the DirectPlay box, wait for it to get enabled, then start the game and be happy!!!

I run via the EXE (Browse Local Files) and set compatability to WinXP Xpac3. Works fine in Win10.

If you run via steam it forces Win98/ME compatability (which is wrong), and you'll have to change it back again. I tried fixing the install script and reg key, but something Steam does changes it all back.

Install over the game. There are some fixes, maybe this will help.

Go to the Praetorian game's installation folder (browse local file option). Right click on the game's executable (.exe) file "Praetorians.exe" and click on properties. Click on compatibility tab. Select "windows 8" from Run this program in compatibility mode. Click ok. Create a shortcut of the executable (.exe) file in desktop and run the game from desktop shortcut. If you run the game from steam then the settings will be changed by steam and you'll need to change it back again.
