game crashes when i finish battle in campaign

Find the .exe for the game, right click, properties, compatibility tab, set it for 98/me/XP

the exe might be in program files -> steam -> steamapps -> common -> imperial glory ( i guess, i have the cd not the steam version) then do as piejoe said.

if you are playing on a laptop like I am. there is a patch to fix laptop crashing with the game

I'm on a Win7 desktop, set the exe compatability to Win 7. After the battle this time it started to load the strategic screen then crashed.

hmm, strange, I am using a windows 7 laptop, before i patchd with 1.1 Laptop friendly it used to crash after a battle, but now it runs smootly, played it for hours last night with no problems.

Ok changing to 800x600 video fixed the problem.
