how can i get widescreen res working

I haven't tried this yet but it might work?

Get widescreen resolutions or any wanted resolution which is not in the game by default[1]
Open <path-to-game>\Config.sb with a text editor.
Change .SX and .SY to the width and height of your resolution.

This doesn't work. Try this it worked for me.

If you have Nvidia open Nvidia Control panel, go to Adjust desktop size and position select full screen button and check the box next to Override the scaling mode set by games and programs.
You still have to go into config in Imperial Glory folder and change screen resolution to 1280x1024, now I have a full screen on my TV. This wasn't my idea I found this on another forum.
